Oh Beaver Creek Valley. Such a simple park, yet it’s become one of my favorites in Minnesota. Here’s my top four list of things to see and do while at Beaver Creek Valley State Park.

I recently completed what is hands down the most magical item I’ve crossed off my 25 Things List yet: attending the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta.

Kaysey and I woke up bright-eyed and bushy-tailed on our last full day of our trip and hustled down to Pacific Beach, where we’d scheduled surf lessons at Pacific Surf School.

My favorite state parks are ones that have incorporated the history of their sites into the visitor’s experience.

I recently visited the 28th and 29th State Parks on my 25 Things List: Lac Qui Parle and Big Stone Lake State Parks.

One of my favorite State Parks has become Crow Wing State Park, because of it’s beautiful views of the Mighty Mississippi, and because of the history that is deeply rooted within it.
