    My self-proclaimed Books and Broadway weekend cont My self-proclaimed Books and Broadway weekend continued with Six the Musical, which simultaneously had the hypest energy and also made me shed a tear. IYKYK. It was the sixth show of the month so we got our own crowns! 👑
    Packing for a trip that’s still weeks away ☑️ Pinching myself that I got tickets to a @rebeccayarros book signing ☑️ Painting a copy of Fourth Wing in an iridescent shade named “Violet” for the book signing ☑️ Manifesting the best weekend ever ☑️
    I’m coming, wait for me. 🥀 Hadestown was a s I’m coming, wait for me. 🥀 Hadestown was a stunning show with a cast stacked with talent. So glad to have been able to catch this one while in New York!

    The Cloisters are a bit of a hidden gem in NYC. It The Cloisters are a bit of a hidden gem in NYC. It was so cool to visit after reading the book, The Cloisters, and seeing some of the places the characters spend time in. A few of the settings mentioned in the book that I got to see: Photo 1: The cafe that Ann and Rachel eat lunch at - in the center is a small courtyard with a fountain. Photo 2: The greenhouse overseen by Leo. Photo 3: The entrance to the smaller cloisters and the poison gardens. 👀 Photo 4: A few of the poisonous plants, themselves! Photo 5: A deck of playing cards - not quite the tarot cards mentioned in the novel, but close enough for me! Photos 6-8: The path Ann would have walked up to The Cloisters each day.

Never posted the actual pics, so here they are! 🤗 I left the book behind at the Cloisters as a book fairy/scavenger hunt situation, and included a note for whoever picked them up. I was super nervous that no one would take it and at the end of the night, an employee would throw it in a lost and found bin, or just in the garbage! 🫠 Luckily it found a new home! When I left a book behind in London, I didn’t leave a note in the book, so I have no idea if it ever made its way to someone else’s shelves, but this time I included my social handles in the card, and got a message that someone found it and picked it up! It was so fun! Hoping to continue this tradition while I travel in the future.

    Awhile ago I flew to New York exclusively to see @ Awhile ago I flew to New York exclusively to see @iamjojo STAR in Moulin Rouge on Broadway and she was absolutely phenomenal! Amazing actress and a voice that stunnnnnns. Chills. The show was absolutely mesmerizing, the cast was dripping in diamonds and talent, and it was overall a hell of a time. I also got to see Broadway icon Aaron Tveit as Christian to JoJo’s Satine - and was in disbelief that I got to hear both of their angelic voices on the same stage at the same time. Entire show was incredible. Wish I could experience the whole thing over again!
